Agave Queen with Berry Crown 

This is a large painting of a Blue Agave in my garden.  I planted it several years ago along with a Yaupon holly tree slightly behind it.  Each year the holly drops hundreds of red berries.  On a morning walk around the garden, I noticed one lone berry had landed on the sharp tip of the agave leaf and here you go!  It summoned me to paint it!
